Welcome! Sit a Spell! Leave a Comment! Don't Hurt Me!

I got my sitemeter stats today and this week had a new high--almost 400 visits. I am assuming that 395 of those visits were from either from CJane minions who were angry that I insinuated my legs might ever reach her level of exalted shininess, or my stepmom who doesn't use the Google Reader and has an almost-compulsive page refreshing habit. But just in case there are actual people besides the mob, Jenny, and the five of you, I thought I would post again.

So, um, a post...

Well, it is Friday. And that means it is Spaghetti and Meatballs night. I decided that I wanted to have more routine in our home, which translates to me having to think less about dinner. Jooj LOVES spaghetti and W LOVES meat. I like things I can boil. Win-Win-Win. So if you come to dinner on a Friday, you are getting this treat:

Another benefit to having an official Friday Night Dinner is that I can spend some time making dessert. This is actually from yesterday, because the plums were turning, but we ate it tonight so I think it counts. Now, I know that some people would not pee on Rachel Ray if she were on fire, but this is from her magazine and it was AWESOME.

In other news, I am coming to a neighborhood in Provo next week. Without my kid. Or my husband. Or, most likely, spending money. Who wants to hit the dollar menu with me?

b, can I get pebble ice with my breakfast? Because, if so, I am ON IT.

Next week already? I am so there.

And since you like things you can boil, have you tried making these yet? I think it's going to be the newest diet fad because every time I look at it I develop a sudden aversion to eating.

I am ALL over making the squidlies for dinner. That rules.

Dalene, I knew you were talking about the Pighetti even before I looked.

I'd love to meetcha meetcha meetcha meetcha, one way or another . . .

(Sorry, sometimes I just lapse into Blondie.)

I know a whole lot about Ms. Ray.

Like she's not a baker. She confesses that all the time, "I'm not a baker you guys! EVOO!"

So I bet that's not a Raechel Ray recipe as much as it's a "Raechel Ray" recipe.

That's a really long way of saying that I'm Team Bourdain.

Count me in, unless it's Thursday or Friday. I can't do those days. (sigh--it's going to be one of those days, I just know it.)

Those squid-dog things are strangely entertaining. I'm certain that my kids wouldn't eat them. But I find them fascinating.

Yes - but I give you something to blog about. ;-)

Besides - people ask me all the time about our grandkids.....and this is the only way we get to see all of them and keep up on updates.

Now you've put TraDITION in my head. It will likely be there all day. Thanks for that. ;)

Coincidentally, it is spaghetti night at our house tonight. It's not Friday, but it'll do.

Did you know that you can get a double cheeseburger at McDonald's for A DOLLAR? (My dad tells me that at least twice a week, thought I should pass it on)
