It has been a long, long week. One of those that made it seem like this next six months will never end. But we got through it. And we did really well. I even pulled some good mothering out of the sky and used it on Jooj. (She didn't know what hit her!)
We made some Jack-O-Lanterns. Jooj was in charge of making the crucial face-shape decisions.
(We were supposed to make a sign that said "Hi, Grandma Jenny!" But we forgot. Sorry.)
We also made some paper-chain ghosts. (Holy Ghostesses, as Jooj calls them...) She even made the faces.
She threw a fit when I wouldn't leave her behind in the kennel while I went to the grocery store
She climbed all the way to the top of the stairs. In the Nude.
It was Fall for approximately one day. We excitedly wore a sweater. Now it is Summer again.
We did a lot of water coloring. In the Nude.
Only 22 more weeks of this to go.

I think that it was one of those "Heavenly Father, there is nowhere to go but up" moments. I don't know where else it came from...

Thanks! I am quite proud of that display, myself. I even used Modge Podge. MODGE PODGE, I tell you.
There are very few things she does clothed. Today I made a new rule: When the missionaries come over you have to put on clothes. It took some convincing.
I so feel you, but you have a way better excuse!
Nude is definitely the way to go, I think Edamame would be way jealous of the nudist friendly weather you have down there.

And Lulu, I am glad you liked the display. I worked hard on it, all the while hoping that one day Jooj would hate me and I would go to jail for security violations. And then Cybyl Shepherd would play me in the movie.
