The following commercials are ludicrous:
1. The soy milk commercial where the book club hostess is serving tumbler-fulls of Silk. Really? Soy milk at book club? Really? And a whole tumbler? Really?
2. Mariposa, the butterfly fairy. Can you make this song inaudible to adult ears? Because it is always in my head. And I will never buy this because the song is driving me nuts.
3. Whatever diet product this is--I don't care what Topanga looks like, or how much she weighs. Please put her boobs away from my eyes.
4. Prescription Meds for Whatever--Do you REALLY think that grandpa is watching Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency? Why are you paying for airtime for your arthritis pills? And why do you think all the old people want to sculpt things from clay? We all know they want to have their ED treated so they can get on other old people. Now we are thinking about our grandparents reenacting that scene from Ghost. Thanks.
In addition, Lindsay Wagner is not a good spokesperson for anything.

One more plug for a dvr...honestly!
I have had a DVR for many years, but am running out of shows that are taped--I have to watch live tv sometimes because there is nothing left but Yo Gabba Gabba on the DVR. Hence the watching of commercials.
And sometimes I don't time the skipping forward right.
Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency? Really?
And please old people shouldn't be allowed ED drugs, the whole idea of old people getting busy freaks me out (well until Carolyn and I are old but we'll be "hot old" so it won't be as bad). And hurray for Yo Gabba Gabba.
Wondering what kind of book one would have read at a book club where one drinks tumbler-fulls of any kind of Silk.
And dastew's comment about old people cracked me up. So only hot people can get busy? What is left then for the rest of us poor slugs?
I just heard a testimonial for breast enhancement in which a woman raved "I felt no more discomfort than with a paper cut."
Uh-huh!
I love it when the ads for medications include the disclaimer of side effects at the end, always spoken really fast so that maybe people might miss them saying "Side effects may include dry mouth, suicidal thoughts, and explosive diarrhea."
that's funny jill.
When I was 7 I had a girl crush on Jamie Summers (Lindsay Wagner), but you tell the truth....she shouldn't represent.
Explosive. That made me choke on my Izze.
A GIGANTIC, nipple-invading paper cut. On my eye. And my spleen.
And CW, you are neither old nor sluggy. You are hot.
ROTFL - ok so the post made me laugh, then the comments made me laugh ... and now I've got the dry mouth - hope it doesn't progress from there ;)
This is hilarious. I may link to it, if you don't mind.
