Cabbage Patch Kids: Worse now than before. They are too big and they are not as exclusive. I was once offered $100 for mine on the street. I said no.
Sesame Street: It's a wash, with the exception of Big Bird's new voice. What is up with that? Whiny. Also, I am not a fan of Rosita and Baby Bear, but I do like that Super Grover has a new theme song. I also like that we can all "see" Snuffy. The cartoons are worse, though, and I can't stand Gabby or Gina. Give me Olivia and Mr. Hooper any day.
McDonalds: Worse than before, because they won't bring back the McDLT (Hot stays hot, cool stays cool) and you have to ask for peanuts on the sundaes. Also, I miss Mayor McCheese, and Ronald is a little molester-y
Rap: Worse than before. Beasties are all preachy and/or Buddhist and political. Snoop and all West Coast has too many hos and gangstas, not enough music. Also, where is House of Pain? There are also too many Toofs. You know what I'm talking about.
Cartoons: Better than before. Have you watched old Ren and Stimpys? Not as good as I remember. Give me some Billy and Mandy or Fosters anyday. (Excepting the Old Loony Toons. Never mess with the classics.)
Making out: Better than before, because I don't have to sneak around, and I can also say no and go to sleep instead. Much better.
Dates: Worse than before because there is no way to forget that I am paying for it, when it all comes around to it.
Nail Polish: Worse than before--where did BOPO go? Brush on, Peel off. That was nail polish for you! BOPO, lip lickers, and Jelly purses.
MTV: Worse than before because there are no videos. I long for the days of the Ed Lover dance and Al TV. Remember Al TV? Martha Quinn? She was good. Remote Control? Excellent game show. 1st Real World? Not bad. Carson Daly and Next? Crappy.
Waldo: Better than before, sweeter and nicer than before, and much better hair.

Cabbage Patch Kids will never be the same without the ladies in fisticuffs over them.
Isn't Sesame Street pushing Cookie Monster out for Veggie Monster or some crap like that? BIG no-no.
McDonald's? Never heard of it.
I *heart* TLC.
Amen on Ren & Stimpy. I found a few episodes on an old tape, and... the anticipation was too high, the let-down too low. No sir, didn't like it.
Making out? Dates? Nail polish? Seriously?
Mtv...is that thing still around?
Waldo - fewer teal pleather caps & chain wallets.
Also worse: flying, BYU's colors,
Much better: computers, video recording devices (yeah for DVR's), cordless phones, shaving products
my kiddos aren't real big into sesame street so I haven't seen it for a while but a few days ago we came across and Bob was singing with one of the monsters on the stairs. I realized how old Bob was looking and it made me a little sad. . . .I love the good old days of sesame street too.
