Moving Monday: Also, Lots of Posts Coming Today. Sorry to Your Feeds.

OK, here is the winner of the Paula Deen Hearts Butter Cookbook:

Robots say #5 is the lucky number, so FIG is the winner! Please send me your address (waldoswife at gmail) and then I will mail it to you, along with a stern look for quitting the blog. Quitter.

Today is a great book, one I have used in the past, but not so much any longer since I live here.

I find it to be very yummy. But since I am lazy, I just go down the street for my Mexican. From Mexico. You will not be disappointed with this one. But you will have to go to the Mercado.

Leave a comment, Robots will choose. You know the drill.

Moving Monday Giveaway: More Cooking!

The winner, decided by the robots, is DaWife! Continuing the trend of the same people winning. Such is the chance when only twelve people enter things.

Today's cookbook is from the queen of butter. Paula Deen. I don't know why I have this book. I have never even opened it. Maybe it was a gift? From someone? Hopefully not you? I am sure it is great. But, in following with my credo to get rid of stuff I don't use, it is out of here. People on Amazon loves this book. You will too. The robots will not be bribed, but they might draw your name on Monday if you leave a comment.

Moving Monday Giveaway: Yes, it is Tuesday.

So I am still focusing on the kitchen. Because this is the room where most of the stuff is. For the next few weeks I am culling out my cookbooks. The ones I don't use, the ones that are too froofy, the ones with too many words. All can be yours!`

This week's giveaway is

Oh, Martha, nothing in this book makes me happy. I know that by questioning you and your methods I am asking for some sort of lightening-bolt-thuggery, but there you have it. You and Ina make pretty things, but they have never translated to my kitchen. Maybe because I am more of an improviser, or because you sometimes leave out steps? Or because when Ina says "caramel" she actually means "toffee" because THAT is what you get at the specified hard ball stage on the candy thermometer, which is still tasty, but is NOT caramel. But your book is really pretty. And orange. And a lot of people swear by it. No hard feelings?

This can be yours, if you leave a comment by Monday morning and the random robots choose you!

Moving Monday Giveaway Number Fourth.

Congrats to DaWife of DaStew who won the juicer. I am not sure she was entering, because she was very disparaging towards juice. But I am mailing it to her anyway.

Today I have a special prize for you to win. It is not something I would normally give away, but I love you.

I initially won a year's worth of Dropps detergent on Kirtsy, and fell in love with it. I kept buying the stuff online, because I can't get it in stores here. They asked me my opinion on it, and I gushed. So then they said "Is there anyone you know that would like some samples?" And I said Yes.

So they sent me some free samples to give away, and a full bag as a reward for my loyalty and general excellence in all things. And I am giving that full bag, which does 20 medium loads or 10 Jooj-destroyed loads to you. Because I love you.

Dropps is killer laundry detergent. No mess. No gigantic packaging. Cheap. Easy. Just like the Sadie Hawkins dance in tenth grade.

Leave a comment to be entered to win. Robots will choose you on next Monday.

Moving Monday Giveaway to the Third Degree

Congrats to ~J who won the awesome blond thing! I will put it in the mail at some point. I am glad you won, because I felt bad that I didn't just give it to you in the first place. That 11% tithing must be working for you.

This week's giveaway is beautiful. It is a vintage-style (But Not Old) juice extractor. I bought it in a severe overestimation of the amount that I juice and an even more severe underestimation of how little kitchen space I have. My loss. Your gain. And then MY gain because I won't have to pack it. It is cast iron and orange. And it works well. That one time I used it.

Same rules as before--leave a comment to enter. I am giving up on the additional entries since it is just the four of you.

I leave you a song that my Grandpa Kent sings when we hit red lights. It is guaranteed to make the lights change:

Transmutigation, Hee Hee Hee
Transmutigation to the nineteenth degree
Nineteenth degree
Hee Hee Hee
Transmutigation to the nineteenth degree!

Then you rub your hands together and say "One, two, three, TRANSMUTIGATE!"

(He likes to give me oranges with faces drawn on them. Hence the connection.)

Moving Monday Giveaway: El Segundo

Wow, that last giveaway was really poorly received. But I don't care, because I am getting rid of three things!

Because I am true to my word, I actually typed THREE numbers into the robot, and it chose:
#1! Dalene!

I will send them out to you this week. Enjoy my crap--I mean--LOVELY letterpress collection.

So here is the giveaway for our second week:

I purchased this when we visited W's fam in Chile. At that point, apparently, I was still thinking that I would 1) get pregnant and 2) somehow, defying the laws of genetics, my daughter would be blonde. Did not happen. Is ceramic, hand painted in Chile. Says Argentina on the back. Which is a little shifty. (But as any Argentine will tell you, makes it far superior.)

I have been carrying this around for years. I am not the princess. I am more like the dowager queen/shoe hoarding dictator who rules with an iron fist. JOOJ is the princess, but not blonde. So, no match for us. Match for you, maybe?

Same rules as last time: Post a comment to enter. If you want more than one entry, sign up to follow me, add me to your RSS reader, tweet about this contest, or post a link on facebook. Then come back and leave another comment telling me that you did that. That is a possible FOUR extra entries! And since the last contest only had three, you would totally be the winner. Or weiner. Either way.

Moving Monday Giveaway: The Premiere

So, there is a 50% chance that we will be moving in one year. Which means that I am beginning my traditional WE MIGHT BE MOVING IN ONE YEAR freakout. Which includes my goal to get each room down to five boxes, not including the clothes in the dresser and the food storage.

What does that mean for you?

I am going through my awesome stuff. And every Monday will have a giveaway of awesome stuff just for you. (Not all of it is from me, though. I have some sponsors stuff, too. Just not today.)

So what can you win this week?

Oh, only my Letterpress collection. (Collection is a loose term. I have stopped collecting before I really started...) Three frame-able images, and one inspiring card.

How can you win? Enter a comment below. If you sign up to follow me, tweet about it, or link to it on your blog or facebook (not on MySpace, though. MySpace is for child molesters), leave another comment informing me (one comment per thing that you did), for more chances.

This will go until next Monday morning after I wake up and get back from the gym. So ten-ish. At that point I will use the robots to pick a winner. Since only thirteen people read this blog, your chances are good.
