How does your pantry/freezer look? Mine is ridiculously full. The (hopefully) impending move next year has been weighing on my mind--I need to start using up the food storage so I don't have to move it. And thanks to the awesome fetus-induced bulima/exhaustion I have barely cooked in the past three months, and STILL have no room at the food inn. So, when I saw this challenge, I thought I would give it a try. Today I am going to inventory my freezers/pantries (using these awesome worksheets from Once A Month Mom) and then I am going to plan out the month of lunches and dinners. I will keep you posted. (Can you stand the excitement?)
My goals are to only have to buy milk, pickles*, OJ*, pretzels* fruit, veg, ginger ale*, and cheese this month. And with the money I am saving on groceries, maybe we CAN take that vacation in March. Anyone want to meet up and go to the beach?

Mmmmm....ginger ale.
I believe in you.
When I was sick, if it wasn't edible from the package or microwaveable, or possibly procurable at a drive thru window, it wasn't food. All the pantry basics were completely worthless to me. THings have improved, but now my back aches if I stand up too long in the kitchen. Good luck to you.
Oh, and I was consuming sometimes 15 cutie mandarin oranges per day (after the sick mostly stopped, before that I would just sniff the oranges), until I moved and found I had a whole tree of ripe fruit outside my bedroom window. With a really long pole, I can pick them from my bed.
