Ha! That is awesome. I love to hear wimpy snow stories; it makes me feel superior.
Umm...in Oregon (west of the Cascades) they cancel school if it snows at all. Even a skiff. I guess we're major wimps there.
Actually, the schools were also cancelled when there was a THREAT of snow. I am sure Mexico completely shut down and there was a tidal wave and a shark attack and the ebola.

We had school canceled when it rained... ok technically everything was sort of flooding... and it was a good day to go out to lunch with friends... everyone knows californians are weather wimps.
Sad part is we've yet to have a single storm dump three inches of snow on this part of NY. I'm jealous.
I wish I was in that part of NY.
