Well, in Texas we don't get to vote until a month after Super Tuesday. Which means I still have some time to decide.
I asked DaStew about why I should vote for Obama. He said, essentially, because O is a socialist, and not crazy, as opposed to the other three choices.
I asked Azucar if she thought Romney would get a VP nom, and she said no.
I would have asked Ames' mom, but I think she is still in mourning over her boyfriend.
Cjane and the Legislators say to go with His Royal Crap-Dancingness.
I found this article, which I like. I am still on stage one. Don't expect to get much further...
So, what should I do?

Making Up My Mind

Don't ask me.
I just went around and took all the little candidate quizzes and came up Hillary every flaming time.
I had no idea.
I feel the same about Dan Fogelberg. I can't count the number of car trips with my folks listening to his music.
And now, after watching the dancing video I think that America should start choosing all it's leader with a dance-off, you know, since American Idol has the corner market on sing-offs. We need a little originality from the leader of the free world, eh?
Lyn, I have honestly thought that, if a presidential candidate could break dance, he would win instantly. No matter his politics.
Wait a minute. Is Texas still a part of the union?? I thought you guys had broken off as your own country by now.
I can't stop watching that video!
I'm in the same dilemma, so I have no advice for you. I'm still in hating mode of Stage 1 too.
I was struggling with the same issue until recently (trying to chose between the two ALMOST completely interchangeable Dems). For the longest time I didn't really care which of them came out on top, so long as they won in November. And for awhile I liked Obama better simply because I thought he had a better chance of doing just that (so many people in this country just plain old HATE Hillary). To be honest, I never really HATED her, but I also never really LIKED her that much either.
After watching the onslaught of debates and tv appearances (it was more the debates than the trips to Letterman that did it) leading up to Super Tuesday I've actually changed my mind and settled on Hillary. But even though California was a Super Tuesday state, we skipped it and will be voting in WV on May 13th - so there's still plenty of time to react to any MAJOR screw-ups.
The Republicans in WV already did their thing on Super Tuesday (don't even ask why it got split up like that, I have no idea) and Huckabee won because (as I understand it), at the last minute all the McCain delegates threw themselves behind him to keep Romney from winning the state .. personally I think that kind of sucks. But I guess it's sort of a compliment to Romney though - that McCain's folks were afraid of him winning such an inconsequential state as WV.
Anyway, honestly, I have no advice on picking a candidate .. somehow it seems harder this year than it has in a long time.
lulu - by 'ALMOST completely interchangeable Dems', do you mean Clinton and McCain?
~j - LOL :) Well, that wasn't exactly what I meant, but if the shoe fits ... ;)
thanks for marking the mourning of my "boyfriend"..He was "HOT" don't you think? Can you say that about someone who's "passed on"?
