I know it has been a while, but I have been having trouble breathing.
I was all set to work on my urban legend (I think that Ty Pennington will play heavily in it) and then we had a setback that knocked me over. Hard.
(There are some things that are so poisonous that they cannot be allowed to enter into my world at all. They are like anaphylactic shock to my existence. This issue is the biggest one for me. I have come along way, but not long enough to have an antidote to that kryptonite.)
Then Jooj turned one, and that was awesome and messy, and somehow it knocked me over again.
I realized that it has been one year since I had a break. One year since I packed up and went. One year since things were different, and I realized that I couldn't breathe. At all.
I am not saying that my life isn't awesome, or that it is hard or anything, (although it is and it is), just that I can't breathe right now, and I don't know what to do to get the oxygen back. A friend suggested a pedicure, but that isn't going to do it. Jooj does the motions to Popcorn Popping, and that doesn't do it. Young Women's every week sure doesn't do it, and neither does having to go to church at 8:freaking30 am.
Is this spring fever? Will my chest untighten if it becomes summertime? Is there some sort of an inhaler for this?

Sage needs to help you with this one. Although I guess she's had family around to help when her man's gone.
I know a few women who are raising babes without hubby's around because they're gone for military reasons. One friend has a 3yr, 2.5yr and newborn when her husband got yanked to Iraq for a year; and he's got a non-action-seeing position so they were shocked when the orders came. I know W isn't gone ALL the time but you are solo enough to go crazy.
For me, breathing started back up again at about 2.5yrs old so, by my calculations, you might be holding your breath for another 1.5yrs. Knowledge is power and time heals all wounds. Yip yip. I love you :o) Have some B&J - that makes me feel better.
Bacardi and Jack?
Sure, OR Ben & Jerry's if you're driving ;o)
Jen...... :-)
What can I do? (Besides work you to death?)
I think that work will help! Just something to get my mind off of me. On a side note, I watched THE GREATEST SHOW EVER MADE last night, and laughed longer and louder than I have done in a long time. Ed vs. Spencer on BBC America. Laughing helped.
I've got the starbucks ice cream in my freezer...but we both know it will be long gone when you get here.
I'd guess some of it is spring fever. And Jooj. And everything. Can you hang in long enough to get here and get a break? I have lots of things in store to help you laugh.
I can make you laugh because imsewfunny ;O)
Wait a minute... when the freak are you going to be here?
